Day Out With a Difference
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September
We are planning a special weekend with St Luke's - the
church in Blakenhall where Tim served for three years.
This is what we are aiming at:
20th September - Day
spent together at Brewood (countrified but not too far!)
We plan to have a couple of Bible teaching sessions
in the morning followed, after lunch, by afternoon activities
- walks, shopping, ect. Following another teaching session
there will be tea and evening entertainment. The programme
will cater for the youngsters too.
21st September - We expect to combine our services
- it will probably work best to have the morning at
St Luke's and evening here at Grace Church.
We think this could work really well - especially since
we are moving our anniversary from Autumn 2008 to Spring
2009, so please be thinking about joining in. We have
planned the Saturday at Brewood so as to cut down on
travelling time. The arrangements have many of the benefits
of a weekend away but without the costs of overnight
accommodation.
