Preaching Team

The great proponent of the Christian faith, the apostle Paul, wrote:
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labour, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Preaching Christ is a great task – a demanding task. And we want to do it well so that everyone who hears benefits.

Developing a preaching team is a new venture for us. We aim to help each other preach well. We have made a good start but are only too aware that we have a long way to travel.

Our first foray is into the First Epistle of Peter. We study together and then feed back on each others presentations. Currently we are preparing a series of eight sermons covering the middle section of the letter.

With the Lord's help (and we need it) this series will be preached in June and July 2010
