We hope you’ve enjoyed the first month back at Brigade and are prepared for an even better November!
We think it’s great that we have been able to welcome our first girl members to both Anchors and Juniors within the first month of girls being able to join. Anchors is now pretty full but there are still plenty of spaces in Juniors and Company Section (boys only in CS at this moment in time), so if you know anyone who may be interested, bring them along! For more details on uniform, age groups and times, look on the other pages of the Brigade section of this website.
We had a few different events last month and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Company Section quiz team, Anchors Potted Sports team and especially the Juniors Connect 4 team who were runners up in their Battalion competition! Also, well done to Amoy (Company Section) for completing his assessed expedition for his Bronze DofE Award, walking around 25km over 2 days at Cannock Chase.
Again, we have another action-packed month in November. Firstly, on Saturday 11th the Company Section Pool competition is taking place, on Sunday 12th ALL SECTIONS will be participating in the Tipton Remembrance Parade and Service, on Saturday 18th Jack and Harrison (Company Section) will be completing their Building your Skills course through the Battalion for their President’s Badge and finally on Saturday 25th the Junior Section 5-a-Side Football competition is taking place. If you have any questions about any of these events, please don’t hesitate to ask your son/daughter’s section leader.
We look forward to seeing the boys and girls of Brigade participating in these events and hopefully bringing home some trophies for 3rd West Bromwich!
Make sure your look out for next month’s Brigade blog for details of more events and successes. Bye for now!
