Exploring Christianity

We recommend and run two courses we think are a great help in exploring who Jesus is, what He said, did and what it means to follow Him in our lives.

One is Christianity Explored. The other is 321.

Jesus Christ offers you
the best news ever.

That may not be your experience of Christianity so far. But when we take the time to look into the life of Jesus and his deep compassion for people, His extraordinary teaching, His death on the cross, His resurrection  and what He says about that, we can begin to see the truth of that claim.

The Christianity Explored course looks at Mark's gospel - one of the accounts of Jesus' life and death in the New Testament. We explore three questions together:

1. Who is Jesus?

2. What did He come to do?

3. Why is it important for everyone?

Christianity Explored is informal. There's no pressure, there's plenty of time for discussion and opportunities to ask any questions.

It's also a great course for Christians to brush up on the basics.

Look out for details of our next course sometime soon. Meanwhile, we're ready to run one at a time that suits you - so if you'd like to come along please get in touch.

You can get hold of Mark’s account of Jesus’ life  for free by downloading a Bible app. We suggest you search for the YouVersion app in the Apple Store or Google Play store. Then download the NIV Anglicised translation and search for Mark. You can also get the actor David Suchet, himself a Christian, to read to you!

Christianity Explored has a helpful website with people's stories of how Jesus has proved real and life changing to them as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

DISCOVER LIFE
ACCORDING TO JESUS

The 321 course gives you the chance to see life the way Jesus does. 321 explores God’s three-ness, the world’s two-ness and your one-ness.

And it’s much less mathematical than it sounds!

In a friendly relaxed environment over the course of four, hour long sessions, interactive videos will present Jesus’ vision for life. We’ll interact with them and share our thoughts and experiences with one another. You’ll have plenty of space to ask all your questions. But don’t worry, you definitely won’t be asked to read, to pray or to share anything you don’t want to.
